The Beloved is everywhere, within and without.
Everything is touched by grace.
Everything is Sacred.

I wrote this song on Kauai, influenced by the wonderful teachings of the Sufi way.

One part has the traditional Sufi phrase repeated:

Ishq Allah Mahboud, Leilah, Leilah

which means God is Love, Lover and Beloved.

I first fell in love with the guitar at age 8. My Dad taught me how to play a single note version of "Bile Them Cabbage Down" on his old Harmony guitar. The action was so high you could slide a small paperback book under the strings.
